Consider using Chegg for Textbooks
As a college student it's hard to come up with money to pay for tuition and books. I attend CSU East Bay and the bookstore prices are insane! It was comical today the professor asked how many students actually buy their books at the bookstore and out of a class of 70 about 3 students raised their hands. It's hard to mustard $180 for a book you will use for 3 months. Ebay is a great source for books and so is Amazon but recently a fellow student told me about renting text books and I thought what a great idea, but is it really worth it? So I went to the site and checked it out at Chegg.com and must say the prices were great! instead of buying a book for $180 at the bookstore or on Ebay for around $100 I could rent the book for the quarter for $57. Than I did the math well if I bought it for $180 and sold it for $70 when I was done I would have paid $110 for the quarter. Maybe if I get it at Ebay for $100 and sell it for $70 I would have paid a total of $30, but than I would have to pay to ship and then Ebay takes a 15% cut on all textbooks so out of the $70 I would see $60 and than paypal takes a cut so maybe $57 I would see?? and that's if I'm lucky enough even to sell the book and it remains its value in a few months. This way I don't have to worry about selling my book back to make some money. I get a great price on the book up front and they supply a return shipping label for me when I am done. I recommend it and let me know if any of you have used this service or similar ones and what was your experiance?

Survey finds many Boston kids placing blame on Rihanna, hah? wait wut?
Hip-hop star Chris Brown’s arrest for allegedly beating singer Rihanna has sparked outrage in the media for weeks, but a survey conducted by the Boston Public Health Commission found almost half of Hub teens think she is to blame for the assault.
“Somehow young people have gotten the message that this is just part of a relationship,” said anti-violence advocate Deborah Collins-Gousby.

Illegal Alien Care. BULLSHIT
We need to do something about this medicare problem. Millions and millions of dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for health care. By law we have to treat anyone who enters the emergency room and unfortunately American tax payers are being fucked, nickel and dime'd and for what. So we can aid people who aren't even supposed to be here? This is going on in one Florida county and who knows most likely all over and state wide. I pay my medicare bills for ME. Not for some fuck illegal to get off scott free in turn companies raise my bills to cover people who are sucking at our health system. Watch the video.

Sliding House
Ross and Sally Russell built their home with a sliding cover. With a touch of a button, it becomes a glass home to let sunlight in!
When Ross, now 48, presses a button on a remote-control handset, four electric motors start to whirl, hidden wheels begin to turn and the whole 20-ton shell – 52ft long, 20ft wide and 23ft high – slides slowly back on rails to reveal a mostly glass house beneath – and a first-floor bathroom open to the sky. Ross even built a lot of it himself. See the video below.

adam lambert kissing a guy pics inside
>This is totally distracting. It seemed like last week when Adam Lambert got this much praise on American Idol, with his performance of that Rolling Stones track compelling Randy Jackson to compare him to Twilight's Robert Pattinson. And, as he found himself a spot on the Top 12, people online started wondering whether he could be the “next Edward Cullen,” probably because of his looks, and probably because of his singing, although his voice is obviously much screechier than Robert's
And then, boom—photos of him kissing other guys come out. I'm sorry, but I think those people have lost themselves future vampire material.
Vote for the Worst has done it again. They've posted photos of Adam kissing another guy. For those queasy about the details, well, here they are—most of the photos have Adam wearing flamboyant outfits, and shiny purple hair, lip-locking with another similarly-dressed guy. One of the photos show Adam in his usual get-up, like what we've seen in Idol recently. As for the kiss, well, let's say there's tongue involved. Oh, and the photos are right here.
McDonalds 911 Call: Latreasa Goodman Has McNugget Emergency (Video/Photos)
A McNugget emergency! A patron of a McDonald’s in Fort Pierce, Florida, named LaTreasa Goodman got very upset when the McDonald’s ran out of Chicken McNuggets. Listen to the McDonald’s 911 McNugget emergency calls below.
Latreasa Goodman, 27, ordered the chicken mcnuggets, paid for her nutricious meal, and then was told there were no more nuggets. And apparently Goodman went off!
A McDonald’s employee told her it was against store policy to give refunds and would provide her a McDouble instead. Latreasa Goodman called 911 three times in a row.
According to the 911 tape, obtained Goodman told them:
This is an emergency! If I would have known they didn’t have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one. This is an emergency!
The police responded and gave Latreasa Goodman a citation for misusing the 911 system, and must appear in court.
McDonald’s did issue an apology for the incident and released a statement, which read:
In the event that we are unable to fill an order, a customer should be offered the choice of a full refund or alternative menu items. We regret that in this instance, that wasn’t the case.

Starbucks to offer new breakfast meal
Starting tomorrow Starbucks will have a new menu item. The $3.95 breakfasts — coffee and an egg sandwich, cup of oatmeal or coffee cake — represent Starbucks’ latest effort to recast itself as an affordable brand. The value meals, which Starbucks calls “breakfast pairings,” save customers $1.20. As part of a broader effort to appeal to the value-conscious, Starbucks is also offering discount cards and training its employees to suggest bags of whole beans and instant coffee to people who are cutting back on $4 lattes.
